II. Duties of a CACF Member


The CACF Board of Directors determines policies, procedures, and regulations for the conduct of the Chico Arts and Culture Foundation.  This foundation is the fundraising auxiliary of the City of Chico Arts Comission.  As such, board members are expected to raise funds to help finance the Chico Arts Comission and its programs, promote Chico Arts and Culture Foundation in the community, and to monitor CACF's organizational performance.

Terms are two years running with the fiscal year (July 1 to June 30).  Job duties include attendendance of at least 3/4 of the yearly board meetings, participation in committees as needed, and volunteering at CACF special events.  Board members will have an opprotunity to understand and make a difference on local and regional issues that impact the lives adn well-being of Chico artists and art organizations that value art as a part of their experience.
